Our Lake Jackson Doctors
In 2006, he opened his own clinic in Lake Jackson, Texas, launching the next phase in his dream of seeing the community well through Chiropractic care.
Always mindful of the needs of his patients, Dr. Billy Bob continues to develop his expertise. Along with becoming a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic), he is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and is certified in the Graston Technique and acupuncture.
“What I love most about chiropractic is seeing patients of all ages experience the benefits of chiropractic for the first time. I also love seeing patients and families get well and stay well with chiropractic.” Those who have known Dr. Billy Bob his whole life say that he was born to be a Chiropractor and a leader in the Chiropractic profession.
Dr. Billy Bob’s commitment and belief in the benefits of Chiropractic is also why he is passionate about doing all he can to inspire and train students, interns, and preceptors.
When he is not at seeing patients, Dr. Billy Bob enjoys watching his kids participate in sports. During football season you can be sure he will be watching the Fightin’ Texas Aggies. He also serves on the Brazosport Christian School Board of Directors in the role of Vice-Chairperson.

Emily Plaza, DC
Dr. Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from The University of Texas-Austin. While at UT she was in the Longhorn marching band as part of the Clarinet and Big Flags sections. Dr. Emily received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas graduating as the Valedictorian of her class.
Dr. Emily loves Chiropractic for many reasons, first and foremost is that “through Chiropractic we are able to treat you for a problem— we are not just chasing the symptoms.” Secondly, “Chiropractic means that I am able to heal someone with my hands as well as physically show them how to live a more mobile and active lifestyle.” Dr. Emily is concerned that so many people rely on medication to cover problems leading and that this can lead troubling addictions. Dr. Emily loves that Chiropractic “can move people away from those medications which is important for our community.”
When not seeing patients, Dr. Emily spends her time pursuing her interests. She is an avid sports fan and follow the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, UT Football. She likes to stay active and enjoys running, lifting weights, swimming and hiking. She also loves to hike and recently saw 112 alligators in just one afternoon at a state park in Brazoria County! Dr. Emily also loves to cook and bake, as well as paint, draw, craft, build, decorate, sew, and create art.
Dr. Karina loves Chiropractic because she “loves being able to provide our community with a more natural approach to healthcare and help them achieve a healthy lifestyle and better quality of life.”
When not seeing patients, Dr. Karina likes to stay active spending time outdoors and traveling. Biking and paddle boarding are her activities of choice. She also likes trying new restaurants and experiencing different cuisines and new foods.

“Dr. Jeffrey Azbill, D.C. (Doc), was one of those individuals. He showed me my first x-ray and gave me my first adjustment. Immediately, I was hooked and wanted to know more about the profession. I give thanks to his insight and willingness to teach and share with me the knowledge he acquired over the years.”
