Dr. John Ramirez was born in Wharton, Texas and raised in West Columbia, Texas. Dr. John received his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Business from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2006. He achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West College of Chiropractic of San Jose, California in 2010 and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Chiropractic. Dr. Ramirez owned Columbia Chiropractic in West Columbia, Texas for two years, then in 2014 he transitioned into the oil and gas industry working in operations. In late 2021 Dr. Ramirez returned to Chiropractic full-time and opened the newest Coburn Chiropractic office in Bay City.

Dr. Ramirez loves Chiropractic because he “loves being able to help improve people’s lives, keep them out of pain and help them to stay mobile.” Dr. Ramirez explains how his first experience with Chiropractic as a teenager changed the direction of his life.

“My first Chiropractic treatment was with Dr. Bob Coburn when I was 19 years old. I had sustained a lower back injury and was having problems getting in and out of a chair. Dr. Coburn got me out of pain and into wellness. This amazing experience with Chiropractic led me full circle back working with Coburn Chiropractic!”

When not seeing patients, Dr. Ramirez spends his time with his family. Dr. Ramirez explains that:

“In the past I enjoyed riding motorcycles, mountain biking, surfing, and riding horses. Since my daughter was born and is now 3 years old, my life consists of tea parties and dress up. I enjoy experiencing holidays and life through my daughter’s eyes. So now it is all about family time and adventures to water parks, the beach, and anywhere we can pet animals!”
